Equality Act and Christian Workplace Groups
There is, under the Equality Act 2010 s149, a duty on public authorities to:
- Eliminate discrimination, harassment, and victimisation in respect of age, disability, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation;
- To advance equality of opportunity; and
- To foster good relations by tackling prejudice and promoting understanding.
