He (Jesus) said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:7-8
At the weekend we celebrated Pentecost, the day when God the Father sent the Holy Spirit to give power to all those that serve Him. The effect was immediate - the once timid disciples were now bold and able to stand up and stand out, no matter what came against them. They went out in His power, transforming the world, the effects of which can still be felt today.
And the Holy Spirit can do exactly the same for us in our workplaces. This week as you face the challenges of work, remember that He has given you power to make a difference.
