Talk about your career and help young people near you

At Transform Work UK we believe God wants us to be good corporate citizens and we are sure you do, too.

We are keen to see more young people make good career choices and so are partnering with not-for-profit Growing Ambitions UK-wide to encourage career speaking volunteering among Christians in the workplace.

Growing Ambitions is run by born again Christian social entrepreneur, Sally Davis: one of the original committee members of the forerunner of Transform Work UK, the Christian Workplace Forum.

Could you volunteer a half-an-hour to talk about your job and career to young people near where you live or work? Although talking about our career, we know that we carry the Holy Spirit with us wherever we go!

Careers advisers are often under-resourced and need the input from the world of work. Their young people need information to help them make informed career choices.

Whether you are a member of our staff, a member of a Christian workplace organisation or from any other workplace, you can sign up – it takes just a few minutes - through our volunteering portal below. Speak just once if you want to, and then opt out. Over 800 career types are on the site.

Four steps

Register to Speak – a few minutes to complete a screen
Wait to be contacted by a careers adviser (from a school, college or uni near your home or workplace)
To and fro by email with them to fix a good date and time
Go in and speak.
