Sharing ways and wisdoms

An enlightening and thought provoking collection of accounts of and by Christians and others in many countries who live out their faith with dignity, courage and hope in situations ranging from poverty and persecution to conflict and the struggle to build strong communities.

Sharing ways and widsoms aim is to change those who read it in the way any of us would have been changed if we had experienced or lived through some of the events. If we allow the people behind the stories to become real to us, and even change us, we will come to understand, trust and respect them and thus their ways of life, and empathise when ways have been lost through war, oppression and poverty.

 

The book is set out in chapters and each chapter begins with an introduction which leads you into the stories and accounts, each one is then followed by a reflection and discussion and action points.
